No guarantee of employment
A better CV improves how clearly you are presented. It cannot control who is hiring, how many people apply, what a particular employer is looking for, or what happens at interview. CVPositive does not guarantee interviews, offers or employment, and anyone who does guarantee those things should be treated with suspicion.
Applicant tracking systems
CVs are written to be readable by the applicant tracking systems commonly used in UK engineering recruitment — clean structure, sensible headings, relevant terminology, no layout tricks that break parsing. There are many such systems and they behave differently, and they change. No specific score, ranking or parsing outcome in any particular system can be promised.
Not professional advice
Content on this Website is general information about presenting your experience well. It is not careers advice regulated by any professional body, and it is not legal, financial or immigration advice. If your situation calls for that, take proper advice from someone qualified to give it.
Your information, your responsibility
Everything written is based on what you supply. You are responsible for making sure your qualifications, certifications, dates and duties are stated accurately. Misrepresenting your experience to an employer is your risk alone.
